When we are overlanding or road-tripping with family and friends we often find ourselves pulling out the handheld radios. But sometimes after getting used, radios get misplaced and the wild goose chase ensues. In order to stop that kind of madness we created our new Radio Pouch.
The real magic of this Radio Pouch is that it is backed with high strength hook and loop (Velcro). Attach it easily to our Seat Back Panels, Gadget Bag, or any hook and loop surface. Never lose a radio again!
The Radio Pouch will fit smaller handheld walkie-talkies like Midland X-Talker FRS and Motorola Talkabout radios as well as the smaller Baofeng UV-5R Radio.
Will now fit slightly larger handhelds like Midland GXT 1000 VP4 GMRS radio and some handheld HAM radios.

The BROG Velcro Radio Pouch is a 1000D Cordura holder for a handheld GMRS or HAM radio, backed across its full rear face with Mil-Spec hook-and-loop so it mounts to any loop-Velcro surface without webbing or hardware. A hook-and-loop strap folds over the top to retain the radio. The pocket runs 4 in tall x 2 in wide x 1.5 in deep.

What radios actually fit this pouch?
It fits smaller handhelds like the Baofeng UV-5R, Midland X-Talker FRS, and Motorola Talkabout, plus slightly larger units like the Midland GXT1000VP4 and some handheld HAM radios. The internal pocket is about 4 in tall x 2 in wide x 1.5 in deep, so measure a tall or wide radio against that before ordering.
How does it attach — does it need MOLLE webbing or screws?
Neither. The entire back face is Mil-Spec hook-and-loop, so it presses onto any loop-Velcro surface: a seat-back panel, the inside of a gear bag, a headliner loop panel, or a molle/loop board. There is nothing to thread and no hardware to install, and you can peel it off to relocate it.
Will the radio stay put on the trail?
On a matched loop surface, the full-coverage Mil-Spec backing keeps the pouch in place through normal trail vibration, and the hook-and-loop strap folds over the top of the radio to keep it seated. Press the strap down fully after you drop the radio in so it stays put on rough terrain.
Is it weatherproof?
The 1000D Cordura shell is abrasion-resistant and shrugs off dust and splashes, which covers the interior cab or gear-bag mounting this pouch is built for. It is a soft pouch, not a sealed dry case, so do not count on it for submersion or hard rain exposure.
