It's designed around the Sprinter center console and drops into the Transit and Promaster as well. Because it sits in the console rather than bolting in, fit on a non-Sprinter comes down to your console footprint. Measure against the 16 x 15 in base before you order if you're running a van other than a Sprinter.

How does it stay in place — does it bolt down?

There's no bolt-down hardware; the caddy sits in the console. The velcro loop field on the floor is for attaching add-on pouches inside the caddy, not for anchoring the caddy itself.
