The Trail Compact Chair is a packable camp seat that weighs 4.23 lb with its carry bag and folds down to 5.5 x 13.8 x 5.5 in. The frame is lightweight aluminum tubing strung on an internal elastic shock cord, so the poles snap together on their own and you slip the breathable fabric over the ends. No tools, about 30 seconds to a finished chair.
It holds up to 300 lb on a low, compact seat. This is a pack-size-first chair, not a padded recliner, and that trade-off is the point: the 13.8 in folded length fits a door pocket, a drawer, or the side of a packed gear tote where a full camp chair never would. When you tear down, it drops back into the included bag and rides out of the way until the next stop.
The included carry bag has a shoulder strap so the chair moves with the rest of your kit. Good fit for space-tight overlanding builds, but it pulls double duty for the tailgate, the beach, or the sideline at a kid's game.
