The Bandit 900 is a free-standing single canvas swag — a 400gsm poly-cotton shell over a sealed PVC floor with a built-in 70mm foam mattress. At 900mm wide it's the tightest-packing single in the line, built for solo overlanders who want a real bed in the smallest possible roll.

Is one person enough room, or is it tight?

It's 900mm (35in) wide and 2150mm (85in) long — room for one adult plus a small gear stash at the foot. The narrow footprint is the point: it's the line's tightest-packing single. If you want shoulder room for two, step up to the wider model in the range.

Can it sit on the ground, or does it need a stretcher?

Both. The frame is free-standing, so it pitches straight on the ground over the sealed PVC floor, or sits on a suitable stretcher or cot if you'd rather sleep off the dirt. Same setup either way.

Will the canvas leak in heavy rain?

The shell is 400gsm proofed poly-cotton, fully seam-sealed, over a 550gsm PVC bucket floor. Like all cotton-blend canvas, give it a wet-and-dry season cycle before the first hard rain — soaking and drying the canvas swells the fibers and closes the stitch holes. After that it sheds weather well.

How does it handle condensation?

Poly-cotton canvas breathes, so it manages internal moisture far better than a synthetic tent that traps it. The four gusseted awnings open for cross-flow venting, which clears morning condensation faster.

How big is it packed, and how heavy?

It rolls to 37in long by 15.7in diameter and weighs about 13 kg (29 lbs). The carry bag runs roughly 39 × 17 × 17in. It's a vehicle-based swag — plan to carry it in the rig, not on your back.

How do I keep it from getting moldy?

Pack it bone-dry. If you strike camp wet, unroll and air it out fully before long-term storage — trapped moisture is what mildews poly-cotton. Stored dry, the canvas holds up for years.
