The Kammok Sunda 2.0 is one shelter that works two ways. Pitch it on the ground as a 2-person tent, or strap it between two trees and hang it as a hammock for one. The swap takes under 60 seconds with the included Python straps, so you pick whatever the campsite gives you instead of carrying two pieces of gear.

Inside there's 34.7 sq ft of floor, a 38 in peak sit-up height, and a flat ridgeline that runs the full 100 in length. Two doors, two windows, and mesh side walls move air across the interior to cut condensation on humid nights. The 40D ripstop bathtub floor is rated to 2000 mm and the attached Lumos 20D fly to 1200 mm, with taped seams to keep heavy rain out. DAC aluminum poles set the structure; the whole thing holds up to 400 lb.

It ships as a complete kit: the tent with fly attached, the pole set, a fitted footprint, two suspension straps, two carabiners, six stakes, and six guylines, all in one stuff sack. Trail weight is 4 lb 3.5 oz; packed with everything it runs 6 lb 2.5 oz and rolls down to 7 x 7 x 19 in. It's a 3-season setup.

Overview

The Sunda 2.0 is a convertible 3-season shelter that pitches on the ground as a 2-person tent or hangs as a 1-person hammock. It ships as a complete kit, so there's nothing else to buy to run it either way.

Key features

  • Two modes, one shelter — ground tent for two, hammock for one; switch in under 60 seconds with the included straps.
  • 34.7 sq ft floor, 38 in peak height across the full 100 in length, with a flat ridgeline for real sit-up room.
  • Weather-sealed — 40D ripstop bathtub floor at 2000 mm, attached 20D Lumos fly at 1200 mm, taped seams.
  • Cross-flow venting — two doors, two windows, and mesh side walls to manage condensation.
  • DAC aluminum poles, 400 lb capacity, 3-season rating.

Use cases

Built for backcountry sites where flat, dry ground isn't a sure thing. Camp two on the ground when the terrain cooperates, or lift the shelter off wet, rocky, or sloped ground by hanging it between trees. One bag covers both calls.
