The Spider System is one of our most-requested custom products, now in an all-new style. 6 buckles emanate from a central ring, connecting to six 6' Loop End Rollercam® straps, so you can spread tension across a pile of soft gear from every direction at once. Dry bags, duffels, sleeping pads and coolers stay put on a roof rack, raft frame or truck bed. Loop end straps are the most versatile attachment style, so this will work for whatever hard points you have.
Each strap runs on the patented friction-free Rollercam® buckle. Pull each leg tight in seconds, and it holds, wet or dry. It sets up faster than a web of loose straps and holds tighter than a stretchy cargo net.
Pro tip: Before securing to buckles, feed each strap through hard points on your gear for rig-to-flip security.

Overview
The Rollercam Spider System secures an awkward load to a rack or platform from a single center hub. Six 6-foot cam straps radiate from the hub so the load is held from every direction instead of one strap fighting the whole job.

What comes in the kit?
Six loop-end straps, 6 feet long and 1 inch wide, plus one central Spider hub measuring 13 x 19 x 0.67 inches. The straps run off the hub so one anchor point holds a load from several directions.
How much can each strap hold?
350 pounds working load per strap, built on a 3:1 safety factor. With six arms sharing the load, that covers most coolers, cans, and gear bags.
How is the Rollercam buckle different from a ratchet?
You tension it by hand and release it with a thumb press. There is no ratchet handle to feed backward or over-crank, and the cam re-tensions so you can add bite after the load settles.
Will it loosen from road vibration?
The cam holds tension under vibration and trail chatter. If the load shifts on a rough stretch, you can snug each arm tighter from the center without unloading anything.
What can I strap down with it?
Odd-shaped soft and hard loads: coolers, fuel and water cans, dry bags, and gear totes on roof racks, cargo platforms, and raft frames.
Is this for heavy freight like lumber?
No. The Spider is a soft-goods and gear system rated 350 pounds per strap. For rigid, heavy freight, use a freight-rated ratchet strap instead.
How do I keep it in shape?
The marine brass roller, stainless hardware, and UV-treated webbing shrug off sun and weather. After a dusty or sandy trip, rinse grit off the roller so the cam keeps rolling clean.
