Use cases
Riders run these on bed racks, roof racks, rear panels, tailgates, and ATV/UTV cages to carry drinking and wash water without eating cargo space. Owners also freeze them solid the night before a hot day for cold water on the trail. Stack two on a single mount with an extension kit when you need 4 gallons in one spot.

Does this come with a mount?
No. The container ships on its own. You'll need a RotopaX pack mount (Standard, Deluxe, or Locking) plus the 4-inch disc plate to fasten it to a rack, bed, tailgate, or bumper.
Is the water safe to drink, and does it taste like plastic?
It's BPA-free and rated for potable water. A new pack carries a plastic smell at first. Fill it with tap water, let it sit a couple of weeks, then dump and rinse, and the smell fades. Owners report drinking from theirs daily on week-long trips without trouble.
Can I freeze it?
Yes. Freezing it for cold water on hot days is a common move. Leave some headroom at the top so the expanding ice doesn't stress the walls.
Can I stack two of them?
Yes, up to two packs on one mount using a matching extension kit. RotopaX doesn't recommend going past two stacked.
Will it leak on rough trails?
Leaks are rare and covered by the 10-year leak-free warranty. The pack-to-mount fit is tight and rattle-free. If a seep ever shows up, check the spout gasket first. </content>
