Rollercam Roperoller with Accessory Cord and Carry Case
Rollercam Roperoller with Accessory Cord and Carry Case
The Rollercam Roperoller is a knot-free rope tensioner that pulls a line drum-tight and locks it in place. Each one runs a patented cam buckle over a brass roller: thread 3-4mm rope or paracord through it, pull, and the cam grips. Working load is 35 lbs, max load is 115 lbs, and the design carries a 3:1 safety factor. Each roller weighs 0.8 oz, so six of them plus cord and case barely register in a kit bag.
The cam is the whole point. Unlike a friction hitch or a clamp-style tensioner, you can re-tension after the load settles by pulling more cord through, and it releases one-handed when you are done. It holds without slipping under load and road vibration, then lets go clean. The brass roller, stainless steel springs and shafts, and corrosion-resistant cam are built to live outside in grit, salt, and weather.
This is the full kit: six Roperollers, two 10-ft sections of 3mm blue reflective accessory cord (20 ft total), and a dedicated carry case to keep the set together. The reflective cord shows up in a headlamp beam so you are not tripping guylines after dark. Use it on tarps, tents, awnings, guylines, and roof-rack or cargo tie-downs. It is a gear-tensioning tool, not a life-safety device, so do not use it for climbing.

Overview
The Rollercam Roperoller 6-Pack is a knot-free rope tensioning kit for tarps, awnings, guylines, and tie-downs. A patented cam buckle grips 3-4mm cord, holds without slipping, and re-tensions or releases one-handed.
Key features
- Patented cam buckle holds without slipping under load and vibration; re-tension by pulling more cord through, no re-tying
- 35 lb working load, 115 lb max load, 3:1 safety factor
- Works with 3-4mm rope or paracord; each roller weighs 0.8 oz
- Marine-grade brass roller, stainless steel springs and shafts, corrosion-resistant cam
- Kit includes 6 Roperollers, 20 ft (two 10-ft sections) of 3mm blue reflective cord, and a carry case
Use cases
Tension awning and tarp lines, guy out a tent, lash a kayak or cargo to a roof rack, or snug down anything that needs a fast, adjustable hold. The reflective cord keeps guylines visible at night. Anywhere you would otherwise fight a taut-line hitch, the cam does it faster and re-snugs without untying.

What rope or cord does it work with?
Any 3-4mm rope or paracord. The kit ships with two 10-ft sections of 3mm blue reflective cord so you can use it out of the box. Cord much thicker than 4mm will not feed; much thinner may not grip well.
How much will it hold?
Each Roperoller has a 35 lb working load and a 115 lb max load, with a 3:1 safety factor. That covers tarps, awnings, guylines, and most gear tie-downs.
Do I still have to tie a knot?
Just one. Tie an anchor knot to start the line, then run the rope through the cam and pull. The cam holds the tension, so there are no tension knots to fight or untie later.
Can I tighten it after it is already set?
Yes. Pull more cord through the cam to snug it tighter after a tarp sags or a load settles. No unthreading and no re-tying.
Will it slip under load or road vibration?
The cam locks the line and holds without slipping under load and vibration, then releases one-handed when you want it loose. Check the cam and cord for wear before each trip.
Can I use it for climbing or anything life-safety?
No. The Roperoller is a gear-tensioning tool, not a life-safety device. Do not use it for climbing or to support people.
