The Roo Single UL is a one-person camping hammock that packs down to 5.9 oz (167 g) and stows in its own water-resistant stuff sack about the size of a lime. It lays out to 100 x 50 in and is rated to 300 lb. The shaved weight comes from Levitas 20D ripstop nylon with a DWR finish, so it sheds light moisture and breathes instead of trapping heat.
Suspension is a toggle-and-loop system: an aluminum toggle on a Dyneema cord buttons through its own loop, dropping the carabiner weight off the standard Roo. The toggle mates with standard daisy-chain straps and whoopie slings, so you can run whatever suspension you already pack. Tree straps are sold separately. Perimeter loops let you clip an underquilt for cooler nights without adding a pad.
This is an ultralight build, so treat it like one. The 20D fabric is tuned to save grams, not to be a daily backyard hammock dragged over rough bark. Stay inside the 300 lb rating, keep it off abrasive edges, and it earns its spot in a thru-hike kit where every ounce counts.
