Overview

The RinseKit Rack Shower is a rack-mounted, battery-powered 5-gallon shower that delivers 50 PSI of pressure at the push of a button. It's the version of the RinseKit electric shower built to stay bolted to the rig instead of riding loose in the bed.

How long can I shower before the tank runs dry?

A 5-gallon fill runs about 8.5 minutes on the full shower setting, 9 minutes on center, 7.5 minutes on jet or flat, and 30-plus minutes on mist. That's enough to rinse two people or a load of gear per fill.

Do I have to take it off the rack to charge it?

No. Charge it in place with the included 12V cord, or wire it to the SAE plug for constant power so it tops off while you drive.

Will it survive a freeze if I leave it mounted in winter?

No. At 32°F or below, drain it completely and store it inside — freezing water can damage the pump and internal parts. Once filled for use, it handles water from 33°F to 110°F.

Can I pour hot water in for a warm shower?

Yes, up to 110°F. There's no built-in heater, so the gauge reads the tank's current temperature. The black HDPE housing also absorbs sunlight, so water warms gradually when it sits in the sun.

What tools do I need to mount it?

The mounting hardware is included. You supply a crescent wrench to tighten the lock nuts. It mounts on any of its four sides to a rack or truck bed — just confirm your mount is rated for the 57-lb full weight.
