Reliance Aqua-Tainer Overland Water Pump Adapter Kit
Reliance Aqua-Tainer Overland Water Pump Adapter Kit
The Lone Rock Concepts Reliance Aqua-Tainer Overland Water Pump Adapter Kit replaces the flip-out spigot on any Reliance Aqua-Tainer or Jumbo-Tainer with a USB-C rechargeable electric pump. The patented CNC-machined UHMWPE adapter (US Patent No. 12,474,000) threads into the container's 70mm spigot port — same opening the original spigot uses — and the pump draws water up through a food-grade silicone hose to a reversible 304 stainless steel spout. Rated 30 gallons or 30 days per charge, whichever comes first. Kit weighs 414g (14.6 oz).
The flip-out spigot delivers gravity-fed flow that drops off as the container empties — you need the jug elevated, and pressure near the bottom of a 7-gallon container is almost nothing. The pump delivers the same flow from first pour to last regardless of fill level or whether the container is on the ground, in the truck bed, or on a table. A 30-second auto-shutoff stops the pump between uses so you're not wasting charge. The reversible stainless spout flips for a drinking fountain orientation.
Fits all Reliance Aqua-Tainer and Jumbo-Tainer containers manufactured after 2015 (4-gallon, 7-gallon Aqua-Tainer; 5-gallon, 7-gallon Jumbo-Tainer). Does not fit Rhino Pak containers — those use a different spigot port geometry, and Lone Rock Concepts sells a separate Rhino Pak kit for them. Reliance container not included. Kit includes: electric pump, CNC adapter, USB-C charging cable, food-grade silicone hose, 304 stainless steel spout, storage pouch.

Overview
USB-C rechargeable pump kit that threads into the Reliance Aqua-Tainer and Jumbo-Tainer's 70mm spigot port, replacing the flip-out spigot with on-demand pressurized water. 30 gallons or 30 days per charge. Fits all Aqua-Tainer and Jumbo-Tainer sizes, post-2015 manufacture.
Key features
- USB-C rechargeable electric pump — 30 gallons / 30 days per charge; 30-second auto-shutoff between uses
- Patented CNC-machined UHMWPE adapter (US Patent No. 12,474,000) — threads directly into 70mm spigot port; no drilling or modification
- Food-grade silicone hose + 304 stainless steel spout — reversible for faucet or drinking fountain orientation; all water-contact parts food-safe
- Consistent pressure regardless of fill level — no gravity drop-off, no need to elevate the container
- Fits all Aqua-Tainer and Jumbo-Tainer sizes — 4-gal, 7-gal Aqua-Tainer; 5-gal, 7-gal Jumbo-Tainer (post-2015)
Use cases
Camp kitchen setup where the Aqua-Tainer or Jumbo-Tainer serves as the primary water station. Works flat on a camp table, truck bed, or ground — no need for a raised platform to get flow. The auto-shutoff and consistent pressure make it practical for dish washing, hand rinsing, and drinking water access without having to monitor the pump. The 7-gallon Jumbo-Tainer with this adapter is a common basecamp kitchen setup for 2–4 people on multi-day trips.

Does this fit all Reliance Aqua-Tainer sizes?
Yes. The adapter fits the Reliance Aqua-Tainer 4-gallon and 7-gallon, and the Reliance Jumbo-Tainer 5-gallon and 7-gallon. All of these containers share the same 70mm spigot port the adapter threads into. Containers manufactured after 2015 are confirmed compatible; pre-2015 containers may use a different spigot design — contact Lone Rock Concepts to verify if you have an older jug.
Why won't it fit Rhino Pak containers?
The Rhino Pak uses a different spigot port geometry than the standard 70mm opening on the Aqua-Tainer family. Lone Rock Concepts sells a dedicated Rhino Pak kit for those containers. If you have a Rhino Pak, order the separate Rhino Pak Overland Water Pump Adapter Kit.
How does the adapter attach to the container?
The CNC-machined adapter threads directly into the 70mm spigot port — the same opening the flip-out spigot uses. Remove the original spigot, thread in the adapter, and the pump draws water up through the food-grade silicone hose. No drilling, no permanent modification. The original spigot can be stored and reinstalled if needed.
How long does the charge last?
30 gallons or 30 days, whichever comes first. For reference, 30 gallons is about four full 7-gallon jugs or seven full 4-gallon jugs. Recharges via the included USB-C cable from any USB-C power source — power bank, vehicle outlet, or solar charger. The 30-second auto-shutoff between pours helps extend charge life.
Does the pump pressure drop as the container empties?
No. The electric pump delivers consistent flow regardless of how full the container is — that's the primary advantage over the gravity-fed flip-out spigot. Gravity pressure drops to nearly nothing in the bottom quarter of a 7-gallon jug; the pump doesn't care.
Are the water-contact parts food-safe?
Yes. The adapter is machined from UHMWPE food-safe polyethylene, the hose is food-grade silicone, and the spout is 304 stainless steel. All parts that contact water are food-safe materials. The kit has no filtration capability — use pre-filtered water.
Does the Aqua-Tainer come with the kit?
No. The kit includes the pump, CNC adapter, USB-C charging cable, silicone hose, stainless spout, and storage pouch only. The Reliance Aqua-Tainer or Jumbo-Tainer container is sold separately.
