Does this kit include the awning?

No. It is the walls only. You need a driver-side Onyx 270 awning to attach them to, and that is sold separately.

Does "Left" have to match my awning?

Yes. This left kit is cut for a left (driver-side) Onyx 270 awning. If your awning mounts on the passenger side, you want the right kit instead.

Is it waterproof?

The panels use a block-out coated polycotton with full storm covers and No.10 zippers, so once it is staked out it sheds rain and blocks wind while staying breathable.

Can I get airflow on hot days?

Yes. Four of the five panels open to oversized mesh screens, and the full-length zippered windows let you fine-tune ventilation without taking any panels off.

How many doors does it have?

Five entry and exit points, so you can come and go from whatever side faces your camp.

Does it come with stakes and ropes?

Yes. Pegs and guy ropes are included, along with a carry bag for pack-down.

How big is the enclosed space?

Up to about 220 square feet with every panel attached. The exact figure shifts a little depending on how high you mount the awning.

Why is the inside darker and cooler than my old awning?

The fabric has a two-pass black block-out coating that stops nearly all UV light. Less sun coming through means a darker, cooler space underneath on a bright afternoon.
