Onyx 270 Awning Wall Kit - Left
Onyx 270 Awning Wall Kit - Left
The Onyx 270 Awning Wall Kit - Left is a set of five fabric panels that zip onto a driver-side Onyx 270 awning and close the open 270-degree arc into a walled room. With every panel attached you get up to about 220 square feet of enclosed space, which is enough to stand up, set up a cot, and keep a table and a couple of chairs out of the wind. The "Left" in the name means it pairs with a left (driver-side) Onyx 270 awning, so order the side that matches your awning.
The panels are cut from 320gsm honeycomb ripstop polycotton with a two-pass black block-out coating, the same fabric as the awning itself. That coating stops nearly all UV light, so the inside stays darker and runs cooler than a plain canvas wall on a hot afternoon. Heavy-duty No.10 zippers join the panels to each other and to the awning, and the seams hold up to rain and gusty wind once you stake it out with the included pegs and guy ropes.
It is built to flex with the weather. Four of the panels open up to oversized mesh screens for airflow on warm nights, then zip back to full storm covers when it turns cold or wet. Full-length zippered windows let you dial in light and ventilation, and five entry points mean you are never crawling over gear to get out. When you break camp, the whole kit folds into the included carry bag.

Overview
A five-panel wall kit that converts a driver-side 23Zero Onyx 270 awning into an enclosed, weather-ready room. The awning is required and sold separately.
Key features
- Five tapered panels enclose up to ~220 sq ft (varies with awning mount height)
- 320gsm honeycomb ripstop polycotton with two-pass black block-out coating
- Four panels convert between mesh screens and full storm covers
- Full-length zippered windows for light and airflow control
- No.10 heavy-duty zippers panel-to-panel and panel-to-awning; five entry points
Use cases
Set it up as a shaded basecamp room for cooking and gear staging, drop the mesh screens for a bug-free open-air shelter in summer, or zip down the storm covers for a wind- and rain-tight space in the shoulder seasons. It works as a standing changing room or rinse-off stall at crowded campgrounds, and pairs with rooftop-tent setups that run off the Onyx 270 awning.

Does this kit include the awning?
No. It is the walls only. You need a driver-side Onyx 270 awning to attach them to, and that is sold separately.
Does "Left" have to match my awning?
Yes. This left kit is cut for a left (driver-side) Onyx 270 awning. If your awning mounts on the passenger side, you want the right kit instead.
Is it waterproof?
The panels use a block-out coated polycotton with full storm covers and No.10 zippers, so once it is staked out it sheds rain and blocks wind while staying breathable.
Can I get airflow on hot days?
Yes. Four of the five panels open to oversized mesh screens, and the full-length zippered windows let you fine-tune ventilation without taking any panels off.
How many doors does it have?
Five entry and exit points, so you can come and go from whatever side faces your camp.
Does it come with stakes and ropes?
Yes. Pegs and guy ropes are included, along with a carry bag for pack-down.
How big is the enclosed space?
Up to about 220 square feet with every panel attached. The exact figure shifts a little depending on how high you mount the awning.
Why is the inside darker and cooler than my old awning?
The fabric has a two-pass black block-out coating that stops nearly all UV light. Less sun coming through means a darker, cooler space underneath on a bright afternoon.
