MAXTRAX Mini Traction Boards (Desert Tan, Pair)

The MAXTRAX Mini is a pair of 25-inch recovery boards in desert tan, sized for rigs and storage spaces where full-length boards won't fit. You get two boards in the box — one for each drive tire. Each board runs 25 inches long by 13 inches wide and weighs 4.4 lb, so the pair is 8.8 lb of recovery gear that still slides behind a seat or under a cargo floor. The two boards stack to a 3.5-inch profile for storage.

Each board is molded from UV-stabilised, engineering-grade reinforced nylon with aggressive cleats that bite tire tread on one side and dig into sand, mud, or snow on the other. Built-in handles make them easy to grab and set, and there's a shovel edge at either end for clearing packed dirt away from a buried tire before you place the board. Keyhole accessory points let you mount the pair flat against a rack or wall.

The Mini trades length for packability, so on a deep, long bog you'll reposition more often than you would with full-size boards.
