MaxTrax Mini Recovery Boards - Black (Pair)

The MaxTrax Mini is a pair of recovery boards that measure 25 x 13 x 3.5 inches and weigh 8.8 lb for the set. They run the same UV-stabilised, engineering-grade reinforced nylon as the full-size boards, and they keep the same 13-inch width and tread cleats. That matters: width and cleat pattern drive tire grip, so the Mini bites just as hard as a full board. What you give up is runway length, not traction.

The trade-off is honest. At 25 inches, the Mini gives less forward distance per placement than a 45-inch board, so it works best for moderate stucks and lighter rigs rather than deep-bog recoveries with a heavy truck. MaxTrax designs and warranties these for vehicles under 7,750 lb (3,500 kg). For smaller SUVs, crossovers, AWD wagons, ATVs and UTVs, the shorter board is the point - it fits where a full set won't.

Each board has two molded carry handles, a shovel edge at both ends for clearing dirt, and keyhole accessory points so you can mount them or link boards end-to-end with the MaxTrax Fixing and Linking Kit. The nylon is UV-stable, so it won't fade or go brittle in the sun, and the set carries a limited lifetime warranty. Made in Australia. Sold as a pair, in black.
