Joey Gear Sling
Joey Gear Sling
Suspend your gear off the ground.
The Joey Gear Sling holds 60 lb worth of gear suspended underneath your hammock, keeping your equipment off the ground all night long. No more dirt stains on your pack, or critters in your shoes. Easily access your pack through the night, and experience the wonder of camping off the ground.
Easily attaches to your hammock.
The Joey’s high-visibility reflective cord quickly attaches into the carabiners on your hammock, meaning a quick setup that’s easy to find at night. We chose to have the Joey Gear Sling clip into your hammock instead of the closest tree to keep your gear sling where it’s most convenient, directly underneath you, while camping.
Safely holds your camping equipment.
Fitting up to a 75 L pack, this gear sling won’t tip over in the middle of the night. Need we remind you that your gear will swing safely up to 60 lb?

Use cases

Does it only work with Kammok hammocks?
No. The Joey clips into the carabiners on your hammock with a reflective cord, so it works with any hammock that uses carabiners, not just Kammok models.
How much can it hold?
Up to 60 lb of gear, or a pack up to 75 liters. It is rated for gear only, not people, kids, or dogs.
Will my gear stay dry in it?
The 40D ripstop nylon has a 1,200 mm PU coating and a DWR finish, so it sheds light rain and morning dew. It is water-resistant, not a dry bag — keep electronics in a separate dry sack during steady rain.
How small does it pack?
It collapses to roughly 3.25 x 3.25 x 4.5 inches and weighs 5.5 oz, so it tucks into a pack pocket and you barely notice it.
Why clip to the hammock instead of a tree?
Hanging from the hammock keeps the sling directly under you and within arm's reach, instead of off to the side near a trunk. Your gear stays where you can grab it through the night.
What does the warranty cover?
As a Kammok soft good, the Joey carries a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Normal wear, UV damage from leaving it exposed, and misuse such as exceeding the 60 lb limit are not covered.
