How long will it run my 12V fridge?
About 20 hours for a typical 45W portable fridge, and that's while still charging phones and laptops. The 1070Wh pack divided by real-world fridge draw lands right around a full day before you need to refill.
How fast does it recharge?
From a wall outlet it reaches full in about 1.7 hours on the default setting. Flip on Emergency Charge in the app and it goes 0-100% in roughly 1 hour. Off-grid it accepts up to 400W of solar.
Can I use it while it's charging?
Yes — pass-through charging works, so your gear stays powered while the station refills. One honest caveat: when the inverter is pulling a heavy load near 1500W, the charge input throttles way down. Plan your solar or charging window around lighter draws if you want it to keep filling.
Does it work as a battery backup or UPS?
It switches over in under 20 milliseconds, fast enough that most gear never blinks. Treat it as backup power for the essentials — plug your router, modem, or mini fridge in directly and you'll get roughly 18-20 hours, then refill in about an hour.
Will it charge in cold weather?
It accepts a charge down to 32 degrees F and will discharge down to 14 degrees F. Below freezing it won't take a charge, so in winter plan to top it off somewhere warmer and store it partially charged rather than dead.
