The ICECO VL45 is a single-zone 12V fridge/freezer with 47.6QT (45L) of cold space in one box, finished in an olive painted metal shell. Single zone means one temperature at a time: drop it to 0°F and it's a true freezer, set it near 38°F and it's a fridge. The full range is 0°F to 50°F. A MAX mode pulls the temp down fast, and an ECO mode trims power on long off-grid stretches. There's no second compartment to juggle, which is what keeps the price and the footprint down.
Power is flexible. The VL45 runs on 12V or 24V DC straight from your rig, a dual-battery setup, or a power station, and switches to 110-240V AC through the built-in transformer when you're parked at the house. The SECOP compressor draws about 55W while it's cycling — roughly 0.347 kWh over a full day in lab conditions. A 3-stage Low/Mid/High battery-protection system cuts the compressor off before it can flatten your starter battery, so you pick how aggressive that cutoff is.
The shell is painted metal with a spring-loaded stainless-steel handle and a tight-lock latch that seals against dust and washboard. The empty box weighs about 50 lbs and measures 27.4 x 15.8 x 19.2 inches. It ships with both AC and DC cords and is backed by a 5-year compressor warranty. Note this is the standard VL45 — the multi-directional lid, internal LED, and USB ports are Pro-only.
