The ICECO APL55 is a 12V dual-zone fridge/freezer with 58QT (55L) of space and a removable divider that splits it into two independent compartments. Each side has its own digital controller and setpoint, so you can run one as a fridge around 38°F and freeze the other at 0°F at the same time. Pull the divider and the whole 58QT works as a single box — one big fridge or one big freezer. The full range is -4°F to 68°F, which covers ice cream on the cold end and a cooler-than-ambient drink stash on the other.
This is the largest box in the aluminum APL series. The shell is aluminum instead of steel or thick plastic, which keeps it lighter than a steel box this size at about 63 lbs empty, and the metal corrosion-resistant skin shrugs off salt air and humidity. It measures 29.7 in long, 18.9 in wide, and 19.3 in tall. The SECOP compressor pulls 0.326 kWh over 24 hours in lab testing, and ECO mode trims that further on long off-grid runs; MAX mode does the opposite when you need a warm box cold fast. It runs quiet at about 32 dB and stays cooling on grades up to a 40-degree tilt.
Power is flexible. It runs on 12V or 24V DC from your vehicle or a power station, or on 110-240V AC through the built-in adapter at home. Three-level battery protection cuts the compressor before it pulls down your starter battery, and damping hinges hold the lid so it doesn't slam. Bluetooth app control lets you set both zones from your phone. It ships with an AC adapter and a DC cable, and the SECOP compressor is backed by a 5-year warranty with 1 year on the rest of the parts.
