The Heroclip Large is a 100 lb-rated swivel gear clip in a shade-of-gray anodized finish. It pairs a carabiner-style gate with a fully rotating hook that swivels 360 degrees and pivots 180 degrees, so a hung load settles square no matter the angle. The hook's beak tip bites flat edges — a tailgate lip, a shelf, a branch fork — where a plain carabiner has nothing to grab, and a rubber insert keeps it from sliding.
Built from machined, anodized aluminum with a composite swivel, it weighs 3.3 oz (about 94 g) but handles big, awkward loads: kayaks, paddleboards, floodlights, loaded packs.
