The Gazelle G5 is a 5-sided pop-up screen tent with 60 square feet of floor space and an 85-inch peak, so most adults stand up straight under the center. The footprint runs 115 by 106 inches, enough room for four people and a camp table. Integrated fiberglass poles live inside the hub, so there are no loose parts to lose. Pull the five sides out, push the hub up from inside, and it stands rigid in under 60 seconds.
The walls are single-filament TriTech mesh, fine enough to keep no-see-ums and mosquitoes out while you still see through to camp. The roof is 210D Oxford polyester with a UV50+ rating and a waterproof coating, so it blocks midday sun and sheds a passing shower. The whole shelter weighs 23.5 pounds and packs down to 7 by 7 by 62.5 inches in the included duffle. It ships with 12 all-terrain stakes and 5 guy lines.
The bottom is open by design (a fitted footprint is a separate add-on). Stake the corners and run the guy lines and it holds its shape in steady wind. In gusty country, wind panels are available separately to close off the lower walls.
