What is included in the 5.0 Deluxe?

How does the 5.0 compare to the 3.8 Deluxe?

Same kit format (tank + hose + case), different fuel capacity: 5 lb / 1.2 gal vs. 3.8 lb / 0.9 gal. The 5.0 is ~30% more fuel in a taller cylinder (8.75 × 8.75 × 15 in vs. ~8.3 × 10.2 in for the 3.8). Choose the 5.0 for longer trips or higher fuel consumption.

Are the three color variants the same tank?

Yes. Black (IGPRO-00725BK), Mtn Collection (IGPRO-00725MT-S), and Arctic Camo (IGPRO-00725AC-S) are the same tank with the same specs, hose, and carry case. The color applies to the tank exterior and case.

Where can I fill the 5.0?

At any standard propane filling station that serves portable tanks: gas stations, RV parks, Tractor Supply Co., Home Depot, and similar locations. Call ahead to confirm the station fills portable tanks. The 5.0 holds approximately 1.2 gallons (about 5 lb) per fill.

Does it ship with propane?

No. All Gas Growler tanks ship empty and factory-purged. Fill before your first trip at a local propane station.
