The Ignik Flipside Heated Bed Cover Double puts two independent heated sleep systems side by side in a single unit — each sleeper controls their own half from their own controller. The left side runs entirely separately from the right: no shared thermostat, no negotiation over heat level at 3 AM in a rooftop tent or truck camper. Each side draws 48W (96W total when both run full), and the smart controller remembers your last setting so you're not reconfiguring every night.
Power comes from a 12V vehicle adapter included in the kit. For off-grid use, Ignik recommends a minimum 500Wh battery with at least 4A output capacity. The Flipside Double is not compatible with the Anker Solix C1000 due to that unit's 12V port limitations — confirm your battery's specs before ordering. The outer shell is 100% recycled polyester; the base is micro-suede, which holds to a foam mattress without sliding when the sleeping platform has a tilt.
The Double is designed for rooftop tent and truck camper setups where two people share a sleeping space and have a 12V system to draw from. It does not replace sleeping bags for sub-freezing temperatures on its own — run it alongside your insulation system. No propane, no combustion, no fumes. Military water can not included.

The Double is the two-person version of the Flipside, built for couples or pairs sharing a rooftop tent, truck camper, or overlanding sleeping platform. Each person controls their own side, which eliminates the "one of us is always cold" problem common to shared sleeping systems. How is the Double different from the standard Flipside?
The standard Flipside is a single-person heated bed cover — one controller, one heated zone. The Double places two independent heated covers side by side with separate controllers for each sleeper. Both sides can run simultaneously or independently; there is no shared control between the two halves.
How much power does the Flipside Double use?
Each side draws up to 48W at max heat. Both sides running simultaneously pull up to 96W total. Ignik recommends a minimum 500Wh battery with at least 4A continuous output on the 12V port. On a typical 500Wh station, both sides running on medium will last 6–8 hours.
Does it work with my Anker Solix C1000?
No. The Flipside Double is not compatible with the Anker Solix C1000 due to that unit's 12V output limitations. Use a battery or power station that provides a standard 12V port rated for at least 4A continuous draw.
Does the 12V adapter come in the box?
Yes. The kit includes a 12V vehicle adapter and a splitter to power both sides from a single 12V port. A 12V battery or power station is not included.
Can one side run while the other is off?
Yes. Each side has its own controller and operates independently. One side can run at full heat while the other is completely off. The controllers do not communicate with each other.
Is the battery included?
No. The Flipside Double requires an external 12V battery or power station (sold separately). Minimum 500Wh / 4A output is recommended for overnight use of both sides.
What happens if I only want to heat one side?
Turn off the controller for the side you don't need. Each side is independently controlled and draws power only when running. The other side stays off and draws no current.
