DMOS Compact Delta Shovel Bag

The DMOS Compact Delta Shovel Bag is cut specifically to the collapsed dimensions of the Compact Delta shovel system. Generic bags and aftermarket pouches leave the shovel head or handle rattling loose — this one fits the components without extra space to shift around. The internal pocket holds a pair of gloves or small accessories alongside the shovel, keeping your recovery kit self-contained in one grab.

Shell: 600D PU-coated polyester. The polyurethane coating adds water resistance without the stiffness or weight of waxed canvas alternatives. At 0.6 lbs, the bag adds minimal overhead to the shovel's 3.2 lb weight.

Anti-slide backing: Hook-and-loop velcro on the back panel prevents the bag from migrating on carpeted truck beds and cargo liners during transit.

Attachment points: Daisy chain loops and D-rings on the exterior allow strapping to rack crossbars, MOLLE panels, or bed rails. Top and side handles for grab-and-go retrieval.

Internal organization: One internal pocket accommodates gloves, a small torch, or other small recovery accessories. Reflective velcro label for contents identification.

Does this fit the standard Delta Shovel or Delta Pro?

No. This bag is cut specifically for the Compact Delta's collapsed dimensions (20 × 7.5 × 3 in). The standard Delta collapses to 24 × 10.5 × 3.5 in and the Delta Pro to the same — both are too large for this bag. DMOS makes a separate Delta Shovel Bag sized for the standard and Pro models.

How does it attach to a rack or cargo area?

The bag has D-rings and daisy chain loops on the exterior for strapping to rack crossbars, MOLLE panels, cargo nets, or bed rails using standard tie-down straps (sold separately). The velcro anti-slide back panel holds it in place on carpeted surfaces without straps for in-vehicle storage. Use straps for any external or high-vibration mounting.

Does the shovel stay secure inside during rough trails?

The bag is dimensioned to the shovel, so there's minimal internal movement. The premium buckle closure keeps the top sealed. For mounted-exterior applications, strap the bag with D-ring tie-downs — the bag itself is not a locking hard case, so securing it to the rack is the primary retention.

What fits in the internal pocket?

Sized for a pair of work gloves, a small flashlight, or recovery essentials that you want within reach of the shovel. Not large enough for a first aid kit or multi-tool — it's a small organizational pocket, not a secondary main compartment.

Is the polyester water resistant?

The PU coating makes it water resistant (handles light rain and splash), not waterproof. For extended exposure, the bag sheds water well, but the shovel inside should be dried before storage to prevent rust on the carbon steel blade — regardless of the bag's water resistance.
