The Talon Mount Kit is the modular bracket hardware that attaches a Kammok Crosswing car awning to your rig. It is built from components you can run on their own or stack with other kits, so the same parts cover most roof-rack and crossbar setups instead of locking you into one. The kit weighs about 6 lb and ships ready to bolt up.
You mount it two ways. With the included clamp plates, the Talon Mounts grip a wide range of stock and aftermarket crossbars. If your rack already has integrated T-slots, drop the clamp plates and fasten the mounts straight to the bars. Either path uses quick-attach brackets, so once the mounts are on the vehicle you set the Crosswing in place by yourself. At install you pick from three deployment angles to dial the awning height to your door clearance and campsite.
Vertical mounting, like clamping to a utility-truck bed rail, is supported but needs Kammok's separate Vertical Brackets in combination with these parts. Running the Crosswing across two vehicles is easy too: add a second pair of Talon Mounts to the other rig and move the awning over in minutes.
