Kammok Crosswing Bug Room
Kammok Crosswing Bug Room
The Kammok Crosswing Bug Room is a no-see-um mesh screen room that snaps onto the 7 ft Crosswing awning and turns that open shade into a sealed enclosure. Setup dimensions run 84.5 in long by 86.5 in wide with 84 in of standing height — roughly 45 sq ft of bug-free floor under the same awning footprint. The body weighs 5 lb and packs into a 16 by 8.5 in carry tub.
It installs like a fitted bed sheet in reverse: an elastic top wraps the deployed awning perimeter and buckles in place, no tools. The walls are no-see-um mesh with 150D ripstop top and kick panels, joined with YKK zippers and a one-time Velcro kickplate adjustment that sets the hem height so there's no loose fabric on the ground. Zippered doors on all four sides keep your rig and gear within reach without breaking the enclosure down. Eight aluminum stakes and a storage bag come in the box.
The Crosswing Pole Pack is not required, but two corner poles add structure for multi-hour camps or breezy sites. This is built for the 7 ft Crosswing awning only — it does not fit the 5 ft Crosswing. Mount the awning between 68 and 83 in high for a clean fit.

Use cases
Best for stays that run longer than an hour — camp dinners, beach days, tailgates, and picnics where gnats and mosquitoes would otherwise drive you off. It also makes a screened nap or sleep space under the awning on extended trips, since the four doors let you move in and out without unzipping the whole thing.

Will the Bug Room fit my Crosswing awning?
It's built for the 7 ft Crosswing awning only and will not fit the 5 ft Crosswing. For a clean fit, mount the awning between 68 and 83 inches high.
Do I need the Crosswing Pole Pack to use it?
No. The Bug Room works without it. Adding two corner poles gives the structure extra support so a tug on the mesh loads the poles instead of the awning arms — worth it for multi-hour or breezy setups, but not required.
How does it attach, and how long does setup take?
An elastic top wraps the deployed awning perimeter and buckles in place, like a fitted bed sheet upside down — no tools. It goes up in a couple of minutes in calm conditions; stake the eight points down if there's any wind.
Can I still reach my vehicle once it's set up?
Yes. There are zippered doors on all four sides, so you can get to your rig and gear from any direction without taking the enclosure down.
Will it hold up in wind?
Stake all eight points in any breeze. Kammok recommends taking the setup down once wind hits about 25 mph to avoid straining the awning and mesh.
How do I keep the hem from gapping at the ground?
Use the one-time Velcro kickplate adjustment to set the hem height for your mount once. After that it stays dialed, so there's no loose fabric pooling on the ground.
