Overview
The Crosswing is a self-supporting, leg-free vehicle awning built around a rigid aluminum X-Frame. It deploys and retracts in under 30 seconds, solo, and stores in a bagless case that needs no straps or covers.

How fast is the Crosswing to set up?
Under 30 seconds, by one person. Unlock the end-cap lever, unbutton the two leading-edge loops, pull the canopy to one of three stops, then crank the side ratchet to tension it. There are no support legs to stake and no bag to deal with.
Will it fit my roof rack?
The included Talon Mount Kit clamps to aero bars, round bars, and t-slot crossbars up to 1.5 in diameter. You need roughly a 40 in minimum span and about 4 in of clearance. Install takes only a 5mm and an 8mm hex wrench.
How much shade do I get, and what's the difference between sizes?
The 5 ft model covers 32.5 sq ft and is 60 in wide; the 7 ft covers 42 sq ft and is 84 in wide. Both extend 78 in out at the third stop, with shorter 35.5 and 58.5 in positions for tight sites.
How does it handle wind and rain?
The X-Frame is rated to 25 mph. The PVC-coated canopy sheds rain, and the rigid frame holds shape without legs. Pack it up above about 25 mph winds and in heavy snow, and add guylines if conditions get gusty.
Does anything rattle while driving?
Some owners notice the internal cross bars rattle on rough roads with the windows down. It isn't a defect and goes unnoticed with the windows up.
