The Camguard is a snap-on cover for 1-inch straight-end Rollercam buckles, sold two to a pack. The Rollercam buckle body is metal, so when it rests on a painted tailgate or sits packed against your gear, it can leave marks. The Camguard puts a hard shell between that metal and your surfaces, and it caps the cam so trail dust, sand, and grit stay out of the roller and teeth.
It measures 1.75 in by 4.5 in by 1 in and weighs almost nothing. Installing it takes no tools: thread the strap through to the buckle, then snap the guard over the body. It leaves the thumb release and the brass roller free, so the buckle still snugs down, re-tensions under load, and pops open one-handed the way a Rollercam is supposed to.
Two guards cover a pair of straps. Use them across painted panels on the trail, then leave them on for storage so the buckle doesn't chew the coiled webbing or scratch whatever it's stacked next to. Note the fit: this guard is for 1-inch straight-end buckles only, not the 1.25-inch buckles or other end hardware.
