Blue Ridge Overland Gear Mule Bag
Blue Ridge Overland Gear Mule Bag
The Mule Bag is a heavy-haul MOLLE duffel built from 1000D Cordura with a laser-cut Squadron MOLLE face. It runs 12" H x 12" W x 7" D and swallows the bulky, awkward loads a tote just drops on the ground — work boots, cables, rain gear, recovery straps. The body takes a beating: mil-spec hook-and-loop, rugged webbing, and integrated tubular webbing handles that won't tear out when the bag is stuffed full.
It's also a modular base. Ladder loops run front and back, so a Medium Packing Cube clips to each side and roughly doubles your haul without adding a second bag. The MOLLE on the remaining sides takes standard pouches, so you build the bag around a specific trip instead of buying three duffels.
Sewn in Bedford, Virginia, and backed by a lifetime guarantee that covers normal use and a fair amount of abuse. Offered in Black and Coyote. Note: the Black colorway can run a 2-3 week lead time when stock is low.

What is the Mule Bag made of, and where is it made?
The body is 1000D Cordura with a laser-cut Squadron MOLLE face, mil-spec hook-and-loop, and tubular webbing handles. It's sewn in Bedford, Virginia.
How big is it and how much does it hold?
It measures 12" H x 12" W x 7" D. The maker doesn't publish a liter rating, but it's one of their largest handheld bags — sized for bulky loads, not just a few small items.
Can I add more storage to it?
Yes. The ladder loops front and back take Medium Packing Cubes (sold separately) that roughly double capacity, and the MOLLE panels on the other sides accept standard pouches.
Is it waterproof?
No. Cordura is tough and abrasion-resistant, not a sealed dry fabric. For wet or dusty hauls, line it with a dry bag or stash sensitive gear in a sealed pouch inside.
