The Axpedition sits at 23.5 inches — longer than a hatchet (typically 14-18 inches) but shorter than a full-size felling axe. What's this axe good for at camp?

Splitting firewood rounds, chopping limbs and branches, and clearing brush. At 23.5 inches it generates enough swing leverage to split a 6-8 inch round cleanly — something a compact hatchet struggles with. How does the PTFE coating help?
