Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 Platform (75 x 49) Unassembled

The Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 Platform is a full-size 75 x 49 in roof tray that gives you one big, flat deck to build on. The platform weighs about 47 lbs and is built from aluminum-alloy planks with reinforced nylon corners, finished in a scuff-resistant black coating that shrugs off trail grit and weather. There are no slot openings breaking up the surface, so the whole top face is usable mounting real estate.

That flat deck is the point. Instead of bolting gear to a few fixed crossbar spots, you mount where your kit lands — a rooftop tent up front, traction boards on one side, a fuel or water can on the other. East/west channels run both directions, and the extrusions have integrated wiring channels so you can route light-bar and accessory wiring inside the frame instead of zip-tying it across the top. A detachable wind fairing on the leading edge cuts drag and wind noise, with up to a 60% drag reduction versus the previous Pioneer generation.

This is the platform tray only, shipped unassembled. Mounting legs, feet, or a Backbone system are sold separately and chosen to fit your vehicle. Your real carrying capacity comes from that mounting system and your vehicle's published roof load — whichever is lower sets the ceiling.
