The Element E50 is a 10.75-inch electrochemical fire extinguisher that puts out 50 seconds of discharge from a unit just 1.2 inches across and 0.5 lb in the hand. It fights all four common fire classes — A (wood, paper), B (flammable liquids), C (electrical), and K (cooking oil and grease) — by releasing a gas that interrupts the chemistry of the fire instead of burying it in powder.
That changes what you can mount, and where. It is small enough to clip inside a door pocket, on a roll bar, or under a seat — within arm's reach of the seat you actually sit in. There is no pressure gauge to watch, no compressed gas, and no moving parts, so it shrugs off the vibration, heat, and humidity that kill cabin-mounted bottles. It is rated from -58°F to +176°F, which covers a vehicle baking in summer sun or sitting through a cold-soak night.
The trade-off is honest: at 50 seconds it is a fast-grab first response, not a shop-sized 5 lb bottle. Discharge is zero-pressure, so it won't blow a grease fire across the engine bay, and it leaves no residue — nothing to scrub off wiring or electronics afterward. The solid chemical has no effective expiration and never needs service or recharge. Single-use: once you fire it, you replace it. Ships with a high-visibility striker, cap, and one mounting clip.
