Three Days That Will Rattle Your Chassis — and Your Expectations.

This isn't a campsite weekend. This is a 3-night, 4-day overland expedition through some of the most dramatic and remote terrain in the American Southwest — Nevada desert, Northwest Arizona, and the wild edges of Grand Canyon country.

We've partnered with Rogue Overland as our route planners and guides. Rogue is well known for their group expedition events and will lead us through epic sites that most people will never see. If you've got a rig that can handle it — this is the trip.

Epic Sites Along the Edge of the Grand Canyon.

This route takes you through places that reward the people willing to work for them. Here's a taste of what's on the itinerary:

  • The Cistern
  • Devil's Throat
  • Grand Gulch Mine
  • Twin Point Overlook
  • Whitmore Overlook

Skills. Adventure. Community. All In.

We're keeping a few surprises for when you get there — but here's what's on the agenda:

Training & Skills

Off-Road Towing Skills
Hands-on coaching from the teams at XGRiD Campers and Rogue Overland.
Vehicle Recovery 101
A full recovery class hosted by Rogue Overland. Real skills for real situations.

Food & Evenings

Group Potluck Dinner
Bring your favorite dish and show the group what you've got.
Campfires & Cocktails
End the day the right way — under desert skies with good people.

This Route Is the Real Deal.

This is a true overland expedition — not a Sunday drive. Here's what to expect and how to come prepared:

Vehicle Requirements: High clearance 4WD is required. There are narrow sections where full-size trucks and trailers may pick up some desert pinstriping. Rock obstacles run 12–18 inches. All XGRiD Campers trailers on independent suspension are built to handle this terrain — larger vehicles and longer caravans will likely collect a few battle scars.

Distance & Fuel: Over 200 miles of off-road travel. Once you leave Mesquite, you won't see civilization until you return to St. George. Come prepared with enough fuel for 230 miles of off-road driving.

Weather: Conditions vary widely this time of year. Day one will likely be warmer; by day two you'll be at higher elevations. We'll monitor forecasts and may adjust the route accordingly.

Leave No Trace: Bring plenty of water and plan to pack out everything you bring in. There are no facilities at camp.
