The Kammok Joey Hammock Gear Sling is a 5.5 oz nylon sling that hangs up to 60 lb of gear under your hammock and off the ground. It fits a pack up to 75 liters, so your loaded backpack rides under you all night instead of sitting in the dirt collecting dew and critters. The fabric is Diamond Shell 40D ripstop nylon with a 1,200 mm polyurethane coating and a DWR finish, so it sheds light rain and morning dew. It is water-resistant, not a dry bag.
Setup is one move. A high-visibility reflective cord clips into the carabiners already on your hammock, which means it works with any hammock that uses carabiners, not just Kammok. Because it hangs from the hammock instead of the nearest tree, your gear stays directly under you and within arm's reach. The reflective cord makes it easy to find in the dark when you reach for your boots or water at 3 a.m.
Packed, the Joey collapses to about 3.25 x 3.25 x 4.5 inches and disappears into a pack pocket. Uncinched it opens to 55 x 40 inches. It is rated for gear only, up to 60 lb.
